The Blue Jays have sent CF Adam Jones, SP Brett Cecil, and AA SS Chris Woodward to the Rangers for OF Nelson Cruz, and SP Alexi Ogando.

- The Jays wanted some more power and they werent getting much from Jones. Also Cecil's 5.02 ERA wasnt very appealing and they were thinking of sending him down. With all the potential lying in the farm system for SP it was a move they could afford to make even though they lose some age here.

- The Jays are halfway through June and have 1 more series before they start interleague play. They are 2nd in the division, 4 games back of the Yankees. Danny Espinosa is off the DL and 3B Wilson Betemit has been sent to AAA to make room on the roster. Here is the Lineup/Rotation for the Jays up to now:
