Now here's a trade that effected more than two teams. Robert Traylor For Dirk and Pat Garrity. Imagine how the Bucks could have been if that never happened. First off Ray Allen and Dirk, now that's a good combination, is that better than a Nash Dirk combo, no but not much worse. This would have been a solid team for years pending that their early success made the organization feel trading Ray wasn't smart. Now let's consider what would have been of the Mavs, this trade led to the trade involving Pat Garrity for Nash, so the Mavs would have been left with virtually nothing, only Robert Traylor. Also the Suns would have never drafted Shawn Marion with the pick they received from the Mavs. So this was a ripple effect trade that really only hurt the Bucks...

I'm a die hard bucks fan, this is so frustrating everytime I think about that trade, but i think Tim Thomas would of been to small to play the 5 and Dirk prob would have had to been the 5.
