No depth charts this season, it's going to be too quick for that part of it to be done. lol.

Transactions:

To Anaheim Ducks:

LW - Matt Fraser
RW - Dario Simion
2015 2nd Round Pick (MIN)
2020 3rd Round Pick (DAL)
2020 4th Round Pick (DAL)

To Dallas Stars:
RW - Raphael Corriveau

Analysis:
Gave up a solid 4th liner in Matt Fraser and a future depth player in Simion, as well as quite a bit of draft picks, but got back the 2nd overall selection in the 2014 draft. At 6'4", 183 lbs, Corriveau is going to be a force at both ends of the ice in a season or two. It also frees up another contract slot so I can fill a hole I currently have in my bottom 6 depth.
Signed:

LW - Taylor Pyatt
C - Tommy Pyatt

Major Blow!
Stars RW and leading scorer, Bobby Ryan, goes down for 2-3 months with a herniated disc. With 50 points in 42 games, he leaves a huge gap for Dallas offensively, and only in my playoffs currently by 5 points, it could be a major turning point in the season for the defending champs.

Trade Deadline:

To Vancouver Canucks:
G - Braden Holtby
D - John Bowen

To Dallas Stars:

LW - Samuel Langfield
G - Mathieu Garon

Analysis:
Holtby was playing back-up in the AHL to top goaltending prospect Michael Nishi, and John Bowen wasn't even cracking the AHL line-up since I have so many prospective d-men. Samuel Langfield, from Denmark, was the Canucks 2nd round selection in 2013, has good speed and potential for a 20 year old power forward. At 6'2", 225 lbs, he adds to the very big and strong prospect pool I have developing. Garon is 37 years old now, will bring a veteran presence to the AHL goaltending situation as well as the NHL if Luongo or Peters go down to injury.

Final Regular Season Statistics:

47-28-7 (5th in West)
2.96 Goals For Per Game (10th in NHL)
2.72 Goals Against Per Game (13th in NHL)
19.3% Powerplay (8th in NHL)
84.2% Penalty Kill (6th in NHL)

Well, statistically we had a worse regular season than last year, but last year we had nearly no man games lost, and this year, all of our stars seemed to be hurt at some point. Going into the playoffs only Niklas Hjalmarsson is injured from our regulars, so we should be fairly strong and in contention.

PLAYOFFS:

Round 1 vs. Chicago Blackhawks:

Game 1: 4-0 Win.
Game 2: 0-2 Loss.
Game 3: 0-5 Loss.
Game 4: 2-3 Double OT Loss.
Game 5: 4-3 OT Win.
(Hjalmarsson back, Valkonen scratched)
Game 6: 2-1 OT Win.
Game 7: 3-1 win.

4-3 Series Win

A tight series that was won in Game 5 and 6 when we won back to back OT games due to Chicago penalties. Tough series, but we come out on top.

Round 2 vs. Los Angeles Kings:

Game 1: 3-2 Win.
Game 2: 1-8 Loss.
Game 3: 2-1 Win.
(Roberto Luongo out, Justin Peters Starting, Mathieu Garon back-up)
Game 4: 2-4 Win.
Game 5: 2-3 Double OT Loss.
Game 6: 2-3 Loss.

4-2 Series Loss.

A fluke goal at the end of game 6 cost us what seemed to be another rally from behind. A tough season as the cup champs comes to an end, all we can hope for is a strong offseason so we can come back and hopefully contend once again next year.

Trady McTraderson... wow. Although I must admit, at the end of it all, I believe your team was definitely better. I like how you manage your picks, I really should start managing mine better. Your FA signings were also nice, adding essentially a solid forward line in Fisher, Gagne and Wheeler as well as adding a defensive rock in Schultz.

Yeah, until the 2019-20 season I basically re-work my team until I have exactly what I want as my core. For the most part I just like to get rid of real players and have drafted ones, but Bobby Ryan is really making it hard for me.

My gamble to trade Pavelski, Valk and 2014 1st overall pick, Aaron Ekblad paid off as Joseph Hilbert has a A,A-,B potential.

How good Is Curtis valk?

# 4 Froosty2 @ Jul 6
Also How do u make the Charts?

Valk was a 77 overall with B,B-,B potential. Probably could have made my team in a season but would be behind some of the other prospects I have.

As for the charts, you go to dynasty in the row of tabs that start with "My Arena" then from there you click dynasty table generators, find the one you want in the side bar, click it and just enter the information you want.
