As the confetti fell following the Philadelphia Eagles victory in Super Bowl LII, it was now time for all 32 teams to turn their attention to the off-season.

The Detroit Lions officially hired Matt Patricia, former New England defensive coordinator, as their head coach.

Despite testing the free agency waters, DT Haloti Ngata decided Detroit was the best place for him and signed a 1-year deal worth 5.83M. The Lions were pretty thrifty this year in free agency, and used their cap space to plug up holes instead of going for the big name.
