The Lions got an interception return for a touchdown from safety Glover Quin and a punt return touchdown from rookie Demarcus Sheffield as the Lions got back to .500 with their second straight win 44-24 over Minnesota.

While Matthew Stafford didn't have his best game in his first game back since a week 1 injury, he minimized the mistakes and managed the offense well. Ameer Abdullah reached the century mark in rushing yards for the second time this season with 117 yards on 26 carries and a touchdown.

Detroit was able to force two interceptions of Sam Bradford and keep the Vikings passing attack out of the endzone. Darius Slay kept lead receiver Stefon Diggs in check with just 1 catch for 10 yards. The one bright spot for Minnesota came in the run game as backup running back Jerick McKinnon, pushed into action due to Adrian Peterson's injury, ran for 120 yards and 3 TDs.

The Lions will look to make it three in a row after an 0-2 start when they face the struggling New Orleans Saints (1-4) at Ford Field.
