Jake Rudock struggled mightily in his first career start, tossing three interceptions and no touchdowns as the Lions fell to 0-2 on the season.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers had a perfect QB rating of 158.3 as he passed for 300 yards and 3 TDs for Green Bay's third straight victory against Detroit. Newcomer LeGarrette Blount had a field day against the Lions defense as he went for 171 yards and a touchdown against a Detroit defense that has not been able to stop the run so far this season.

It is clear the Lions are struggling without some of their best players, as Matthew Stafford, Golden Tate, and Taylor Gabriel all missed the game with injuries. Adding Eric Ebron to an already crowded injury report is not good news for the Lions. They face a virtual must-win next week in Chicago as they face 3rd overall pick QB Joseph Cochran and the Bears.
