All off-season the Buckeyes had this game penciled into their calendar. Ever since a loss in the Big Ten Championship cost them a shot at an undefeated season and a spot in the National Championship. This time Ohio State would prevail as Nebraska came up just short, an interception at the goal line sealed the 37-30 win for the Buckeyes on a day where Tommy Armstrong may have played the best game of his career.

The sophomore QB threw for 354 yards and 2 TDs, also 63 rushing yards and 2 TDs. The Heisman hopeful Ameer Abdullah failed to rush for 100 yards for the first time this season, only totaling 84 yards.

The loss drops Nebraska to 5-1(2-1) on the season and more than likely a drop in the polls. The schedule doesn't get any easier for the Cornhuskers as they go back on the road to Madison to face the undefeated Badgers in a pivotal Big Ten West showdown.
