BillsneedNEWowner's Dynasty Blog
Orchard Park, NY - The Buffalo News is reporting that the search for the new GM of the Buffalo Bills has come to a end as owner Ralph Wilson has made a decision on who will be taking the reins of GM. After interviewing many candidates one candidate in particular stuck out as the right man for the job. Mr. Wilson said we were looking for someone who grew up loving the Buffalo Bills and somebody who really had a strong conviction of returning the Bills to the same type of team that they were in the 90's. We just learned a few moments ago that the new GM is Steve Barnett who is a graduate of the University of Buffalo and has coached at The University of Buffalo as a Offensive Coordinator, also worked at Ohio State as a Offensive Coordinator, and won a National Championship with the Washington Huskies and most recently was the Head Coach At Missouri. Mr. Barnett met the media and had the following to say "I am so honored to be selected by Mr. Wilson and I want to guarantee the fans of Buffalo that we will get back to our winning ways and would also like to announce that there will be player personnel decisions made but the entire coaching staff will have this season to show me what they can do". GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!

Game #1 Buffalo Bills (0-0) @ Kanas City Chiefs (0-0)
The Buffalo Bills kicked off the new season right and got thier first win! It was raining the entire game and the crowd was taken out of the game when Ryan Fitzpatrick hit Roscoe Parrish in stride for a 67 yd touchdown pass and pulled the Bills out of the 10 point deficit they were in at the moment. The Bills then went on to score 24 straight points on route to a victory of 34-17. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 340 yards and 2 Touchdowns while Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller combined to run for 132 yards. The new improved Bills defense led by new comer Nick Barnett held Jamal Charles to 70 yards and although Matt Cassell threw for over 300 yards he wasn't very effective with the majority of his yards coming in garbage time. The Bills first round top 5 pick Marcell Dareus started off the season with 6 tackles and 2 sacks! Next up for the Bills is the Oakland Raiders(1-0) as the Raiders will make a visit to Ralph Wilson Stadium next week.
