The painted forest of fir trees honor the 1939 national title team nicknamed "The Tall Firs,"


The slogan "DEEP IN THE WOODS" is positioned in the center of the court in a to intimidate the opposition.
It is named Kilkenny Floor after Pat Kilkenny, who served as the school's athletic director from 2007 to 2009 and was a long-time supporter of Oregon athletics.

The court was designed by Tinker Hatfield, a former Oregon track and field star who is now Nike's vice president of design and special projects.

I think the court is awesome...but I'd say it will toy with some players minds.

I don't know if it will play miond tricks, but it will get a lot of TV publicity, way to go Nike, and getting the school on TV more. They sure know how to promote also.

It can all be a gimmick, but w/ Nike promoting you, it sure does make the paycheck fatter.....
