Courson makes contact and drives the ball for an RBI triple.

The stadium was already almost empty, for the last fifteen innings. Only a handful of people were still there to witness another Sea Dogs loss.

In the top of the fifteenth, with a runner on base, Antoine Courson launched a rocket that barely cleared outfielder Rob Knowles's glove to drive in the game's first run since the ninth inning. Knowles had tied it earlier in the ninth with a double that drove in two runs. Armando Aparacio was charged with his fourth blown save of the season, but he quickly recovered and struck out Jose Moran and Ben Gribble to keep the game tied at six.

Two runners score as the Sea Dogs got a clutch 2-RBI double from Knowles.

Thunder rolls in blowout

Sea Dogs starter Charley Tseng acknowledges Raber's home run as a no-doubter.
Break out the brooms, the Sea Dogs were swept again, this time by Trenton.

The game was practically over in the third inning, when Rader of the Trenton Thunder hit his second three-run home run to make 7-0 Trenton. Shelly Duncan also had a two run home run as the Thunder cruised to a 12-2 victory in the emptiest stadium in the minor leagues.

The Sea Dogs had an opportunity to respond in the bottom of the first, but fell victim to untimely strikeouts, something the team has been good at with runners on base. Rob Knowles scored Portland's only two runs and was the only bright spot in what was a very bad series Sea Dogs.
