Norwich - Sometimes in baseball, it's best when things don't go according to plan. After last night's game, manager Arnie Beyeler and Red Sox General Manager Theo Epstein had to alter their plans for easing one of their young upcoming prospects. Chris Carter, the regular left fielder for the Sea Dogs, suffered a knee sprain late in the game. Rob Knowles, who has been the primary backup for the Sea Dogs, will be starting in Carter's place until he recovers from his injury.
