Finally, The Orioles have a great star. Joe Mauer was aquired, with Wieters departing for the Twins. They also aquired Jose Morales, who will be bench and rarely DH.

Andy MacPhail Fired, Newcomer....HIRED!
It has been announced that General Manager/President of Baseball Operations, Andy MacPhail, has been fired from the Orioles Organization. Xavier Wilson will be the new PBO, while newcomer Brian Carson has been hired as GM for the Orioles. The Orioles have struggled in the recent seasons, and hopefully Carson can turn this team around. Wilson was not available for interview, but we were able to talk with Brian Carson for a while.
Baltimore Sun: Hello Brian, glad to have you here.
Brian Carson: I am very excited, I will answer any questionns happily.
BS: Okay, lets start with this. How fast of a pace are you going to use to improve this ball club?
BC: I will NOT rush this at all. Fans might want it fast, but it doesn't work like that.
BS: Next Question. Are you going to be making HUGE moves this spring?
BC: Of course! I'll be working on getting talent up to the majors, as soon as they're ready.
BS: What do you expect from this club?
BC: I don't want them to just start winning automatically, I want to make sure everything works smooth.
