Why it's tough being a sports gamer!

Man it's tough being a sports gamer. Personally I love 2012 for sports gaming. FIFA13, NBA 2k13, MLB the Show 12, Madden and NCAA 13 all got a ton of time in my xbox/ps3. But what makes it tough is to get quality time with other games. This is going to sound like a pimping for Gamefly. But Gamefly is the only reason I can stay up on other types of games.

I played Assassin's Creed III and just got Far Cry 3 in the mail... I've missed out on Halo 4 and Borderlands 2. By the time I get Halo 4, everyone still playing is going to kill me online or when I get Borderlands 2 I will have no one to play co-op with. It's tough to get into non sports games when I spend literally hundreds of hours playing the games I love most. But let's all agree it's fun to play something else from time to time.

The plus for Gamefly is the great deals they end up having on games every 6 months. Personally I have bought Max Payne 3, Batman:AC, Dead Island and Ghost Recon Future Soldier all for less than $50. Now it's making time to play all these games. Maybe it's the type of gamer I am, but it's hard for me to just put down a franchise team I've been playing to get into a new game completely. It's the comfortable part of know my FIFA 13 Maanger team that I keep going back to. Really than the GTA series sports games will always take precedent and I do like it that way but it's hard to play a variety of games be a dedicated sports gamer.

I know this sounds like I am complaining, but that's not the point. The point is as fellow gamers do you get caught up in your sports games too? or is it just me?
