'Wild' Coach Wile: The Jeremiah Wile Story

"Big news coming in this morning for you Colorado State fans, former Penn State quarterback Jeremiah Wile has signed a one year deal as the Rams' new Offensive Coordinator. Wile played behind Todd Blackledge for Joe Paterno in the early 1980's. Led by Blackledge, Paterno, and Wile, the team bested Georgia to win the '82 National Championship. Wile was passed in the NFL Draft, but has since coached several successful football teams in high school. Nonetheless, Wile is a long-shot and the deal has left many of us here at CSU skeptical. We wish you luck Coach Wile, you'll certainly need it!"
