As against Dallas it turned out to be a very close match all-around. Instead of falling behind I managed to carve out little spurts and get ahead by up to 10 points in the first half.
You know what: Miami has superstars. And this time they found ways to score, especially in tough stretches for them.
The true MVP in this game for Miami was to be Zydrunas Ilgauskas, though. His offensive boards were key in getting a 24 : 4 advantage in second chance points. In the end this proved to be decisive.
My runs had been egalized at the 53 : 53 score. Then the Heat started to pull away slowly, leading by 11 in the third quarter. Patient play and finally some shots hit by Okur as well as the trusted Pick & Roll working, got that Jazz back in the game for a 82 : 81 Heat lead over the Utah team.
The 4th quarter was held open until about the 5 minutes mark, when Wade's three pointer, LeBron's dunks and Bosh's midrange game would give them a spurt while untimely turnovers on the other end (what use is an offensive rebound if you next try to get away from the endline results in a out of bounds call...) undid the Jazz for a tough 115 : 105 loss at home.
