What happens in Florida...

With the first game of my South-East Coast trip yielding better results than expected I was quite relaxed for the subsequent Orlando Magic game.

My strategy was to put Jefferson on the 4-spot, leaving the defensive work to Millsap initially. Playing Howard manually and keeping him off the boards (not allowing him to cut, boxing out, etc.) worked well most of the time.

At the same time I set the defenders of the biggest outside threats to "Play Tight" and "Deny Ball", which resulted in Q. Rihardson going 0-8 and R. Lewis 2-13 on 3pt shots.

Only Vince Carter managed to slip the D with 28 pts overall, 7 rebs, 5 asts and 6-8 shooting from behind the line (but only 11-24 overall).

The game was a close affair the whole time, 23 : 21 after 1, 50 : 52 at the half, and then opened up to a Magic lead of 73: 81 after 3.

In the 4th I managed to make a run with stifling Defense, keeping the Magic to 19 pts, edging out a 102 : 100 win.

Williams 22 pts, 4 reb, 4 ast
Jefferson 20 pts, 1 reb (!), 2 stl, 2 blk (8-12 shooting)
Millsap 14 pts, 11 rebs (6-8 shooting)
Bell 14 pts (3-5 3pts)
Fesenko 10 pts, 11 rebs (he did a lot of defending Howard and played 21 minutes, more than usual)
Miles 8 pts on 3-6 shooting (+ 2/2 fts)
Kirilenko 6pts, 8 rebs, 4 ast, 1 stl, 3 blk - he is the one who is most likely to ever get the 5 by 5 trophy.

Hayward go the Rookie jitters this time: Only 2 pts on 1-7 shooting.

So the Jazz are on a mini-run now. Next up are the Atlanta Hawks.

3-5
