That calls for a report on the Association efforts. As a Jazz fan, it can only be about getting the first championship for the Jazz. 82 games on All-Star - it's going to be a challenge. For some reason the preseason games couldn't be played - wth? So after going a bit of one-on-one with Deron Williams and Al Jefferson the first game called - against the Denver Nuggets.
And what a massacre it was. A 20 point defeat (87 : 106) and a whopping 35 points by Carmelo, three triples by Al Harrington and several by JR Smith put me behind for good. All in all it was the turnovers, though. Despite being warned, my passes were still picked off, plus a few stepping out of bounds. This is something to work on for the next game. Also, the playbook is pretty much crap - not enough movement for a Jazz style offense - only Deron Williams gets nice cuts to the basket.
23 to 7 Turnovers don't cut it, nor 3 of 9 Freethrows compared to Denver's 17 of 21.
