Definitely. The reason I feel that you guys have a better shot now is because of one thing : Coaching.

I hate to be "That fan" who whines about the coach, but I honestly don't forsee us going anywhere special with Childress and TJ.

I'm sure the Bears will find a good WR in Maclin, Nicks, Harvin, etc... to create problems in the slot. Time will tell, but at least we don't have to worry about the Lions much

No Campain Coop in Resistance 2. Just this Class Based Coop. That does suck, but I understand why they did it. Once the story mode is done there's nothing left to do so this Coop mode that takes you from Objective A, to be, to C, to D... it's pretty cool.

It does sort of have a Halo vibe too it, but it's a heck of a lot bigger in scope with the levels and vistas. It's not a bad looking game either... I don't undersatnd some of the hate towards this game.

When ever I log in online I don't see your Avatar or Aggies avatar. It's kind of weird.

How do you not have an Avatar on XBox Live?

The Single Player isn't story driven like GOW2 or some other shooters, but it's got cut scenes and does enough to be FINE. It's way better than HAZE!!! *laughing*

I finally got Geonosis to play with me. He's a huge GOW of fan, but he's actually played more R2 now than GOW2. He's loving the SP. It's chaotic and tense even on Casual Mode. Your AI buddies don't shoot as much as they could, but it makes you feel overwhelmed in a war setting which is AOK since the Enemy AI on Casual won't kill you every 5 seconds.

There's tons of people playing unranked games - playing all the different mode types. You can see how many RANKED games there are since you access ranked games in "Play Now."

That's great you found the collectors for 60.

I really do hope you enjoy the game as much as Geo, Myself, and Lintyfresh (seeing his comments in the threads).

Keep an eye out for me and Geo in your Allies menu when you're online.

Then I finally played R2.

I wanted to see one of these 30 on 30 maps. I jumped into the game. The laungauge from people wasn't as bad as GOW2, but I did turn all the "Mic Volume" down so I can't hear anyone. The game was Lag Free (this is after playing GOW2 an hour before with Lag). I was impressed. I played 4hr of online in Ranked games and another 4hrs in unranked games. Unranked is the only place you can see the massive battles which are pure choas and fun as hell even if the kills mean nothing to your stats.

The Coop is cool since it's sort of mission based. And having it class based is a nice touch. What's great is that you can play with Randoms and no one is going off at the mouth at you since everyone is dying. Coop is freaking nuts!

I got GOW2 and Resistance 2 on the same day.

I enjoyed the MP modes offline with bots and HATED the online with people. I told the room I was new to the game and mods. They were like "ok.. you'll love the game" blah blah blah. Then I started getting cursed at and the usual slurs. It just took away from the game for me online. I was never around to play with the OS and BMO guys so it sucked.

I also had some bouts of lag as well with Gears of War 2.

It's a cool game, but I don't see myself hanging onto it.

Thanks Mike. Technology is insane being able to see ultrasounds in 4D. Imagine what it will be like down the road with this tech.

Did you ever open Resistance 2 yet? You, Geo, and I had talked about it quite a bit over on BMO. It's pretty cool. It's not as bad as some are saying and it's not the most amazing thing as some would say either, but it's a GOOD FPS... and the online portion is very well done. Party Mode (which takes a group of buddies from mode to mode). The coop is actually fun since it's class based... and you can pick guys up who have fallen like in GOW2.

Hope things are good... I see that you're enjoying GOW2.

I'm hoping things turn around in the league with Artest. He is either feast or famine. I played a few games with him outside the league this weekend and won all the games where he played well and lost all the ones he didn't. I think it's mental on my part and I need to get other guys worked in the mix.
