Now, let�s talk about the MyTeam mode. In this year, 2K redesigned the cards, making them look totally different:

� The cards have new tiers too. Instead of only having 5 tiers (bronze, silver, gold, amethyst and diamond), like in NBA 2K16, this year we have 9 tiers:
� Bronze
� Silver
� Gold
� Sapphire
� Emerald
� Ruby
� Diamond
� Pink Diamond
� Onyx (Free Agent)

� The Onyx (Free Agent) cards are trial versions of some players that you can only have for a limited time that will help your team growing.
� This year, 2K completely retired Dynamic Ratings cards. Instead of that, there will be a lot more Moments Cards, which, as 2K said, will be launched 2 hours after the players� performance. That�s really quick!
� The customization of logos, arenas and jerseys will still be in NBA 2K17, but there won�t be any draft mode.
� There is a new mode on MyTeam too. It�s the MyTeam Blacktop. It�s a quick 3 vs 3 online games, where you will pick one of yours cards and 2K will give you 2 more. The other 2 players will be chosen by a draft wheel, where you can land in cards of all the tiers. When you want to stop the wheel, you click in the button, the wheel will spin a little bit more and then you have the cards that you will be playing with. After each game, there will be a prize board to choose rewards that includes point cards to unlock new boards with better prizes, a technical foul card that resets the board, gems cards and diamond players
� NBA 2K16�s Road to the Playoffs has been replaced by the MyTeam Online mode. It�s basically the same, but in MyTeam Online there are no lineup restrictions.
� In this NBA 2K�s year, there are new challenges. Instead of playing an entire game, players will be able to play challenges may only have some minutes of a quarter.
� NBA 2K17 also introduces the new Dynamic Duo feature. This means that if you can put together 2 players of the same team (like Kobe Bryant and Shaq, for example), you will be able to get a boost in their ratings.
� There�s also a ton of new shoes, jerseys, playbooks, coaches, arenas, logos and badges to acquire on your MyTeam journey.
