HDTV At Last!

So after nearly 2 years of owning a PS3 and playing it on a standard definition tv, I finally went out and purchased my very first HDTV. Being a broke college student I couldn't spend alot of money on a top of the line HDTV. So for the past year I've been keeping my eye out for deals and sales etc, until I finally found the TV for me. I am now the proud owner of a 32" Sylvania HDTV.

I know, not the most recognizable name in HDTV's but for the price $400, and the size it works for me. I bought it from BJ's and didn't have to pay tax and had a $30 coupon off the original price of $429.99. A few weeks ago I was looking for a TV that was 26" but couldn't find anything for my low prince range that was worth it. I really wanted a 32" screen but they were all in the 500-600 dollar range, which was way out of my price range. So when I saw a 32" TV I could get for $400 bucks I jumped.

Since this isn't a popular brand there weren't many reviews online but they few I did read said this TV was a great value for it's price. Anyway last night I played the show in HDTV for the first time and I was completely awestruck and how gorgeous it was. Popped in GTA IV for some trophies and my jaw dropped and how great the city looks. You really get an idea of how big the world is in HDTV.

So all in all I am very excited to finally join the HDTV club and just had to share my excitement.

Now you gotta get your HD cables and switch the settings on your console. Once you do that its a whole new game. It even comes on different.
