How the New OS Won Me Over

So as I approach 6 years ( or according to my card 7 years) here on OS I realize that so much has happened to this place even in just the time I have been here. Let me start by saying first that I have been lurking on these forums for years. I have posted here and there occasionally but never with any sort of consistency. I have, however, been visiting this site daily for as long as I can remember. I was a skeptic when I first heard about the OS merger and didn't know what it would mean for the dynamic of the forums.

Then I heard about this new arena thing and I thought OS had jumped the shark for good. But lately something has happened that has made me want to become a more active member of the boards. I put up an image on my card, attempted to put up an It's Always Sunny image as my banner (I quickly realized that was a failure and have since asked for help in the OS Banner Thread in steve's forum if anyone wants to help me out: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...anners-15.html).

I have been posting a little bit more and have tried to dip my feet into the waters here at OS. While I have been content with browsing and reading everyone's opinions here for year, I have started to want to become a little closer with the community here on OS. After all my initial doubts, this new OS and new arena system may have gotten me to become a more active member of this community. So to whoever was in charge of making the switch I commend your efforts on bringing this already great community even closer and for improving the greatest community I have seen online. Cheers!

No worries about a banner, there are plenty will to help you there. We have some great looking Arenas around here. Things are only going to get better and btw... The Giants go down this weekend.
