Coaches Corner:
After scouting the Spartans, I knew they would pass most of the game. we played cover 2 to take away the deep threat. Although they were able to post decent passing yards, they weren't able to convert many 3rd downs which kept their momentum at a minimum. They threw in an occasional draw to throw us off, but they went right back to passing. Great game forcing turnovers!
We balanced our offense with the running game still as our main focus. Both Broadnax and Harris gained over 100 yards while still moving the ball through the air on play action passes and slants.
