Madden 12 Year of the Running Quarterback?

Madden 12 looks like a huge upgrade over its predecessor with improvements at almost every aspect of the game. I have watched numerous videos from the videos being posted from E3 and have been blown away by how much better the game has gotten in terms of gameplay, presentation, and features. For all of the improvements the game has gotten, there is one issue that could prove fatal to Madden 12.

After watching the Cam Newton vs Tim Tebow video posted here on operationsports I noticed quarterbacks moving around in the pocket are faster than every player on the field. When Newton was running towards the sideline it seemed like he was gliding at the speed of a rocket ship. This awkward motion led to a 20 yard gain for Newton that resulted in fumble. Looking past the fumble it seems evident that quarterbacks in Madden 12 will be able to get out of the pocket with relative ease.

There is concern about the issue but the game is still in development. Hopefully EA will iron out this oddity so Michael Vick does not average 200 yards rushing per game in Madden 12.

I'm little biased because I like that playstyle, but I hope it isnt TOO overpowered because it'll be a no doubt go-to cheese play online.

Shouldn't really matter if zone coverage works like EA says it does. If you have players in the flats and the QB scrambles they should be able to break off and go after the QB, especially if they don't have a man near/in their zone.

Zone defense has been improved;maybe it will mean qb contain and qb spys will be more effective as well.
