5000 Posts Later...

By the time I've posted this blog, there's a decent chance I'm past 5000, well on my way to 6000.

I remember that I joined OS way back in September 2010, over two years ago. I didn't start posting regularly, however, until I developed an ulcer in my stomach in June 2012. I was bedridden for three weeks, and had nothing better to do than post on OS. I started posting in the Trade thread, the Arbitration Panel, on people's dynasties, everything.

In fact, a lot of my posts have probably come from my own dynasty.

Every once in a while, I'll compare the latest post in my dynasty thread to my previous two blog posts; A discontinued Winnipeg Jets NHL 11 dynasty, that, while it had potential, used faulty HTML coding and wasn't even a thread. It's funny how I can go from that to what I like to consider a very nice dynasty.

I remember that I was the kind of player who, in MLB 09, would trade Adam Lind for Albert Pujols, only to trade Pujols for Prince Fielder, Fielder for Adrian Gonzalez, and then Gonzalez for Alex Rodriguez. Now, I'll spend hours (hell, I spent two months on one) on trades, deliberating, "Is this fair? Is this realistic?" and conferring in the trade thread.

I've met some great people on this site, and some not so good ones. I've had some amazing debates, and one certain annoyance got permabanned for telling me to go burn in hell, "you motherf*cker!" He's then proceeded to make two different accounts to try and get back on here, but that's a different story.

However, not everyone's that bad. I've met some really great friends on this site, from all over America- hell, even in Sweden! While there are a lot of great guys in the hockey thread, too, the baseball thread is pretty much my home. You guys rock. Some of you need to post more (cough, Pokerplaya/JKnott/35, cough) and one needs to change his avatar (seriously, NFG, Rihanna's overrated), but you guys are great.

I've met a lot of great people in my first 5000 posts, and I hope to meet many more in my next 5000.
