As long as you still enjoy the game, that's all that matters. I'm trying my best to go at least every-other-year purchasing sports titles. Feel I'll get more money out of the games that way as it's so tough to complete multiple seasons in a few months' time.

This might be the year I do what you did, MLB 10 might be it for a couple of years, I used to buy every sport every year except NBA, that sport is a waste of time for me. Last year was my first with the show and that game was amazing, MLB 10 could surpass it with the patches.

I am starting this as well. I will not purchase another game back to back years anymore. I have Madden 10, NHL 2k10, NCAA BB 10, FIFA 10, MLB 2k10, NBA 2k10 and while I enjoy them all I just can't fork over the $$ again

Just fired up MLB08 myself. I skipped 09 after playing the demo; just didn't see enough to justify the $60 purchase. The game looked and played the same as far as I could tell. That's probably why they've held off on releasing the demo for 10; owners of 09 might not see enough of a reason to buy this year's version. I was thinking of picking up MLB2K10 just for a change, but the demo didn't do much to impress me. Anyone know if there are updated rosters for MLB08 available anywhere for download? That's the only bummer---having to play with rosters that are two years old!!
