if sony would have had half the enthusiasm for nba as they had for mlb, those would be solid games.

it actually kind of moves a little like the old sony basketball games. i personally don't think the game is the worst ever, BUT for us to be playing this game in the year 2010... it's not that good.

based strictly on the demo im not sure this game would be a good purchase at 20 bucks...

This just might be the worst game ever, I say that because this is 2010 not 2000, they have better technology to make better games now so there really is no excuse for elite to release a bad game like this. I agree with @10yard-fight this game is not worth 20 bucks

Live 10 was my choice last year too. And Elite managed to take away everything I loved about Live 10. That is an impressive feat.

When I eventually find myself in a bball mood again I'll be searching the Pre-owned section for Live 10. Or maybe I'll just have to go with the majority and get 2K.

It may not be the worst basketball game ever but it is still an underwhelming attempt.

I suppose I'll be the only person in my area buying the NBA elite game. I love the controls but I do hate how easliy the cpu steals or knocks the ball away. A kickass game to me is about being able to pick it up and play and then enjoying it. 2K controls suck so much, I bet half the people that visit this site can't do half of the moves capable and then bag on elite's controls. Everyone's got preferences but I am amazed at the amount of hate the Elite has gotten. From all the infon on the net, I feel like I am one in a few that actually look forward to being able to make shots because I did something right and reminiscence those nba jam and hangtime days so long ago.
