Week 4 was a quiet one, with many of the nation's top teams either playing FCS or G5 teams, or on a bye as they prepare for conference play to truly kick in.

The game of the week was Kansas State visiting old Big 12 rival Nebraska, and the Wildcats went into Lincoln and took care of business, winning 42-21. KSU QB Avery Johnson threw for 5 TDs, Dylan Edwards ran for 117 yards and the KSU defense gave sophomore QB Daniel Kaelin all kinds of problems, forcing him into 3 interceptions, 4 sacks and just over 55% completions.
