The 2017 season opener goes to the Indians (1-0). What was a pitchers' duel for most of the game became more comfortable for the Indians in the 7th when they tacked on two runs to push their lead to 3-0. Texas (0-1) finally chased Cleveland starter Corey Kluber in the ninth inning, scratching across its first run of the game, but the damage had already been done.
