I joined this site in 2002.



Like yourself, sports games is a huge passion for me too.



I founded Spear Interactive, a video game publishing company out of Hamilton, ON, Canada. Andrew Spearin founded the FPS game Insurgency and scaled that from our parent's basement to over 5 million copies sold. He was looking to start a new video game company.



Maximum Football is developed solely by David Winter in Peterborough, ON (2 hour drive from Hamilton). We're now officially the publisher of the Maximum Football franchise.



David developed Canadian Football 2017 and now Maximum Football 2018 by himself. He also worked at EA and made the original Maximum Football in 05 and 07. The man has a vision and takes action! That's something we wanted to be a part of.



We will be handling sales/marketing/assisting in developing and producing future iterations of the game. We came late into this process and are doing what we can to handle the release day blitz.



It goes without saying that I've played all the football games on consoles and have a library full of them. We are all dedicated to the long-term future of this franchise and are excited about this opportunity



At the end of the day, I'm a huge sports gaming fan like everybody on this site. We can do this together. It goes without saying that we plan on being active on OS (I've reached out for developer status). I really hope you'll build this game with us and come along for the journey. It's always a long journey but rome wasn't built in a day.

The PC version will be the same as the console version. The original PC game was built on its own engine, whereas the current game has the advantage of the Unity engine.

I just found out about this game right now and am buying. I hope to see a true file sharing system and all the extras NBA 2k19 has over time. Nba 2k19 is a holy grail of sports games and it literally has everything one could imagine or hope for in a sports game.

Football simply needs one with a file share system exactly like nba 2k19 because it IS LEGAL to create mods and share them.

If you want real feedback, just make a football version of nba 2k19 with all the same customizable options.

He’ll release the game with fake teams and make a file share system, the OS community will make all the nfl seasons and college/cfl mods you can imagine
