In Madden 17 is there no way to use my custom offline roster in my offline franchise?

I've rated certain players higher or lower than their default rating and want to load that roster to start an offline franchise.....Anybody know how?

not sure about your question, but I do know the FSU and UF have 6 national titles combined

load your edited roster and then when you start the franchise pick your active roster instead of the default one

it worked just fine for me
