1989-1990 Roster

This is the 1989-1990 rosters for PS3 NHL 14.
I do not know how to convert these files to Xbox, but if anyone can help out on that it would be very much appreciated.

To put these on your Playstation just download these files/ unzip/ copy the PS3/SAVEDATA/BLUS311790203 in your external device and then copy onto your system. I have a 1989.db file also put in the download if it is corrupt try again without the 1989.db file, on my system it is working perfectly.

What this file contains

This contains every NHL/AHL teams in this year including all potentials set for all the players, and all ratings as correct to my knowledge.

This also includes draft classes from 1989 through 1991 so you will see future hall of famers in the CHL and from European leagues. Players such as Jagr, Sundin, Lindros, Lidstrom, Brodeur ect.

Anaheim Ducks is mainly characters from the movie "slapshot" and other characters from movies. The remaining teams are just teams from European leagues that I transferred over.

To use Hartford Whalers, Quebec Nordiques and Minnesota Northstars.
once you start your dynasty replace the teams like this

Hartford replaces Tampa Bay
Quebec replaces Florida
Minnesota replaces Dallas

I put Hartford and Quebec over the Florida teams so they can be in the same division once again.

Forgive me for the Team creation especially the uniforms these unis were hard to create for a color blind guy so if anyone wants to recreated these uniforms and upload them that would be awesome.

Also for contract dollars everyone is making 750,000$ for a couple reasons
1. It took me a week to set all the original contracts, and once I started a dynasty every team was way over budget
2. I just don't want to take another week to edit these contracts so I just did a mass edit. (if anyone wants to take the time to redo them please do).

I hope everyone enjoys this roster set. And if there are any problems or errors please let me know, later down the road with enough errors on players I can do an update version.

Also the faces and equipment are not 100% correct
but you will see players without helmets such as MacTavish, Snepts, Randy Carlyle to name a couple

Also I give my permission to anyone who wants to use this set as a base roster for future historic rosters.

Good work on these. I know how painful it can be grinding out a roster. I've noticed a few errors with players original countries (not a big deal for me but might be for some). A few ages aren't correct. I saw Sergei Federov as a 38 year old 75 rated guy for Detroit. Guy Hebert as a 30 year old guy are two that I've found.

Ok thank you for catching them guys. For Federov since he was young at that time I have him as 5 stars, but I will def change his age and ratings same with Hebert. I will release an update later on down the road with all the ages correct, nations ect. But I think Ill take a few days off

Another think I noticed on Hartford I have Mike Liut he shows up on my roster but when I started a dynasty he wasn't even on the roster you know what might cause that?

Amazing job! I don't have correct faces on xbox version, have you work on it? Is it saved on system data file?

regarding face I didn't spend too much time at all on face mainly due to the time factor. But I did change the faces that were really noticeable such as Kelly Chase being black and Grant Fuhr as white. Also people like Dave Tippett just made sure they had mustaches ect. On a future update I can do more faces and equipment.

Damn, will have to try these out some time. Will create guys like Lindros as well and see who will tank in 3 years to get him during that draft class.

You wont have to worry about creating Lindros already in the roster set, I think he is set for the 2015 draft class Same way with Niedermayer, Forsberg, Kovalev ect... That was were I left off. For the 2014 (1990) draft class you will se Nolan, Nedved, Ricci, Jarg and so on. but 1991 or the 2015 draft class is the last year I did.
