trouble using the motion controller need help

for some reason I can navigate through the menu until i get to the screen that lets you select a team. The motion controller wont pick a side, so then I use the regular controller to pick and and get in he game then try to use the motion controller but still is not working. I tried reassigning controllers as well. any suggestions?

funny i saw this.just last night i fired up show and rembered my move.tried for 30 mins to get it setup and in a exh game.just couldnt it.finally went to homerun derby and figured it out there after several tries.sorry i cant remeber what the combo was as i was tryin everything.they need to do a video on this next year.its stupid for a new feature to turn me off so bad that i wont even try it again.

Has anyone ever found how to get this to work? I'm trying to set it up for my son but we have been screwing around with it for an hour now.

When you select the team, you have to select the controller type too by pressing Triangle on your regular controller. The controller icon will change from sixaxis to move.

Also make sure your move controller is on.
