Recruiting promises - they don't follow you if you change jobs?

I'm in my 3rd year as the Head Coach of UCF & looking to move on at season's end (Tennessee is the likely destination if thing work out right). If I make promises to get UCF some great players & then I move on to Tennessee, do those promises come back to bite me in the ***, or is it like they never happened?

Just curious how that works.

Id like to know this too? and if you promise winning record vs rivals or no redshirt and they have a winning record vs rivals and dont redshirt even after you leave does count as a promise kept?

After doing some simulating, I'm 99% sure the promises don't hurt you if you leave, but again, I'd like for someone to confirm this for me.
