I remember the NCAA team saying that they will make the Pro Combat Unis that were a Gamestop pre-order "exclusive" available to everyone as DLC a few months after NCAA 12 released.

Have they given any follow up about this? I was looking forward to using those unis in the game.

When the game was in development, EA said they might put them out as dlc. Nothing official has been said on the topic since. Don't count on it as they have better things to work on.

Yeah man, they have a whole lot of other issues they need to work on before they think about releasing DLC uniforms.
