Not Sure.
Just make him your PR for 2 or 3 games.
There are always no Freshman punt/kick returners, I've seen fullbacks be freshman AA because they had 1 kick return for 2 yards or something.

Nope you can't. I hate it. They can make it as a redshirt freshman so the promise should work for their redshirt freshman year too.
