Love hockey but have not been a big fan of the NHL series, however this year (from what I have read an seen) they seem to have a well put together game.

I am wondering if in your BE A GM mode you can hire and fire the coach or are you strictly only able to handle players.

Can you turn of the option of you getting fired as the GM of the team you picked to control?

yes, when you start a "be a gm", at the settings screen press RT (XBOX 360) twice and it should be the last option at the bottom

He's referring to being able to turn off being fired as the GM. As far as the coach is concerned, I don't believe you can.

BE A GM questions
