Who is the best team in college football history?

I'm starting a little competition on my forum (see signature for link) to claim the best team in college football history. Based off of user opinions and simulation, we'll end up deciding who the best team of all-time is in college football.

Personally, I'm thinking that '95 Nebraska was the best team of all-time. When your star running back (Phillips) doesn't even play much of the season, and you beat four teams ranked in the top ten your practically the best team of all-time in my eyes. Plus, you've got Tommie Frazier, an outstanding defense that was almost impossible to score on, and you won your National Title game 62-24.

There's a few other great teams in contention: 2001 Miami, 1959 Syracuse, 2005 USC, 2005 Texas, 1999 Florida State, 1996 Florida, 1997 Michigan, 1991 Washington, 1994 Penn State, etc.

I don't think anyone before the 90's will have a chance at winning the tournament, to be honest. As the years went on, speed, strength and both sides of the football really improved. It's hard saying a team from the 50's or so could keep up with a team from the present.
