unlocked Be a Pro Gear question

Can you put that gear on a regular nhl player if it is unlocked? Can I give say Tim Thomas the graffitti mask if I unlock it?

Sorry, don't mean to hijack... but a related , very basic question: Do you have to PURCHASE player boosts? Or is that just a shortcut? If paying actual money is the only way, then I think it is fairly clear which direction this whole online thing is going Two class system. If that is the case, there should be at least 1 league for non-boosted (seroid abused) players and 1 for all the other d-bags out there. Please someone tell me that this is not the case. Please tell me you can achieve boosts by improving and working hard. Or else it's the whole steroid issue manifesting itself e-style

No, you do not need to purchase any items. There is a description of what is needed in game to unlock each piece of equipment and boost. I have been slowly unlocking things, mostly in offline Be a Pro. Purchase is just the quick and easy way.

no you can unlock everything, but it would probably take like 2 years of beApro.
