You're all a bunch of old fat losers...

According to this study:

A new study says the average age of video-game players in the United States is 35, and oh, by the way: They're overweight and tend to be depressed...

Meh, I don't understand "studies." If I wasn't a part of this survey, I'm not included in the study.

I'm far from 35, and far from depressed, this study means nothing to me.

This study does nothing but reinforce negative stereotypes.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to play some Madden 10 and cry over how I can't get a girlfriend due to my severe obesity...

Re: You're all a bunch of old fat losers...

This is either MSNBC taking a study way out of context or possibly one of the least scientific studies ever done.

This is kin to the study a year or two back that used urban free clinic data to extrapolate that like 30% of the country had STDs.

For this to be true, the number of gamers ranging from ages 10-20 would be roughly equal to those ranging from 50-60.

My guess is MSNBC ****ed up

Or there could just be a lot of 30-40 year old gamers

I agree, though.

Impossible. After all, they hired Keith Olbermann, didn't they?
