When was your gaming 'Golden Age'?

Excluding my Nintendo days, my gaming golden age was the winter/spring of 2004 when I played nothing but NCAA 2004 and Socom 2.

That period of time was gaming bliss for me.

I've enjoyed a few cool games since then, but nothing else has even come close. I'm still waiting for both of those series to rebound so that I can capture that magic again.

The "Golden Age" of gaming was the early to mid 90's. Super Nintendo vs. Sega!...

The birth of Madden, NBA Live, and the NHL Franchises...Super Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat...the Gameboy appeared...twas a good time.

Me and some of my old college buddies every once in awhile get together and butt heads on NHL Live '93.

Hmmm... Probably from 2000-2005/2006. That was when I was in college and the first year or two after college. Basically when I had a lot of time to game.

2003-2006...I played the hell out of NCAA, Madden, and MVP Baseball during those years.

Well the N64 Era was awesome.

But I'd say early-mid 2000's... Morrowind, Half-Life 2, Guitar Hero, Diablo 2, NHL 2k3... Some others I cannot think of right now...

Had some awesome times.

As much great memories as I had with the Intellivision I'd have to say the NES/SNES years were the best.
