Help Needed-Download lost in Storage Data?

I had to delete 2k to make room for a new COD update. Usually, when I delete 2k, it'll pick back up where I left off. For some reason, when I just redownloaded it, it acts as if it's a brand new game. No My Career saved. Nothing. Could the game be stored in console or cloud? I thought I put it in cloud, yet it takes forever to redownload, and it's as if it's a new game. Please advise if you guys read. I'd appreciate it.
