Day 1 patch?

I seen a few post stating there should be a day 1 patch for the official release date today. Is that still happening. I just turned the game on and there was no update added.

There has been no word from EA about a day 1 patch. It was all speculation.

Unfortunately it was always rumor that there would be one. Sadly, it looks like while you can stick excellent developers at EA, they're still gonna be forced to "EA" so to speak. Sad that they were forced into releasing 3/5 of a football game this early when it wasn't ready or optimized in any way.

perhaps it was deliberate, in order to "incentivize" NCAA fans to also
purchase Madden? Other than shiny graphics, why else would any self-respecting football fan still buy that ****
