OS Madden 10 Preview: NFC East

I am very anti-McChoke, so take the following with a grain of salt all you iggle fans...

Giants 11-13 wins
Redskins 8-12 wins
Cowboys 7-10 wins
Iggles 5-7 wins

Is how I see it playing out.

I think the Giants are clearly the class of the division with thier lines. The running game is solid and Eli may not look like Peyton most of the time, but he certainly never looks as bad as the worst of Romo.

The Cowboys have the talent, but Romo throws too many ints and Wade Phillips never wins anything. They seem to be buried under the wieght of Jerruh's expectations each year. Giving them a minimum of 7 wins may be generous considering the farther they get from Parcells the worse they will get.

The Redskins will have a very good D, maybe better than the Giants, but unless it scores and sets up short fields, the Redskins O won't be much better than last year with Campbell at the helm.

The Iggles are being set up for a huge fall, already too high expectations and a boatload of injuries. I would say Vick would take over at QB by midseason if I thought he was going to be any good this year after two years in prison. The fact that the city and media are all giddy of a mostly unproven receiving corp just shows how sick everyone is of giving McNabb is usual excuse for choking.

Ima Take the Eagles To win and have a 1st round Bye at 13-3 and Giants to have a wild card at 9-7. I also think that the redskins will have a better season than the cowboys at 8-8 and cowboys will choke agian with the pressure of the new stadium at 6-10
