My Sports Game of the Year candidates for 2010/11

In no particular order here are my Sports GOTY candidates:

2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa: So much this game does right. The best commentary in any sports game hands down. They breakdown the action, have appropriate banter, discuss other games and their effect on the game you are playing, a spectacular celebration, especially should you win the World Cup. Great game with minimal flaws.

NBA 2K11: Any game that is this deep and forces the competition back to the drawing board before it comes out has to be considered as GOTY. The Greatest of ALL TIME MJ on the cover and integrated throughout the game, not too mention the numerous improvements ALL around. New Half-time show (paying attention Ian), New Modes and improvements in Association Mode (aka franchise) and much much more. Great job by the 2K11 team. The OS community and others spoke, 2K11 devs listened and have delivered!

NCAA 11: What a difference a year makes!!!! NCAA plays a very good game of NCAA Football! 120 ways to win including each team playing a different style of football.....teams that run no-huddle will do so in this game and you MUST learn to stop it. ESPN swipes are a nice addition, but must be improved upon. Very good game that can elevate to GREATNESS in 12' if they correct the errors in Road to Glory mode and Franchise mode.

Honorable Mention:

MLB 2K10 Vastly improved beyond what reviews game them credit for.

FIFA 11 is going to be a force to be reckoned with!
