A much needed approach in making a sports video game

I'll be quick and to the point. With next-gen systems, sports video games can not stand up against other video game titles. I'd be a liar if I falsified that statement. Nobody likes this. Why should us sports game fans not get as much quality as the first person shooter fans? We shouldn't. There are several reasons why sports games aren't as good as other titles.
