I am a WR for the NY Jets and I just played my first regular season game against the Bills. I came in to my rookie season as the #2 WR behind Santonio Holmes. I am a possession receiver.
We lost to the Bills 24-7. I caught 2 passes for 35 yards.
Mark Sanchez is an awful QB. It actually makes me mad how bad he is. He probably targeted me 5 or 6 times, and he only threw 2 catch-able balls to me. The othewr 3 or 4 were either behind me or way too far in front of me.
Mark Sanchez had 136 yards and 1 INT. No TDs. Our only score came from Bilal Powell on a 5 yard run. Next week we go up against the Steelers. I will be covered by Kenan Lewis. I am bigger and stronger than him, so I will look to have a lot of slants and hopefully will score my first TD of my career.
Next update will probably be week 2 vs. the Steelers and possibly include week 3 vs the Dolphins. both at away games for the Jets.
