Tim Duncan with 24 and 11 really showed why he will be the centerpiece to this team
Nikola Mirotic had 19 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and, 1 block while shooting 7-11 from the field
Kelly Oubre Jr. Made great use of his 17 minutes scoring 14 points and grabbing 4 boards

Trail Blazers:

Damian Lillard absolutely dominated the game scoring 36 points, grabbing 7 boards and, dishing out 15 dimes all while having a great gme on the defensive end with 4 steals
Aaron Afflalo blew up with 32 points, 4 rebounds and, 5 assists
L.A. while not scoring a huge amount of points, only 13, was very efficient from the field hitting 6-7 and grabbing 9 boards

With the offseason in the books and a new roster looking forward to the beginning of the season there have been many changes made in the Timberwolves organization. Here they are

Wolves sign Vogel to 5 year deal
Trades for DeAndre Jordan, Brandon Jennings and, Nikola Mirotic
Signing of Tim Duncan to one year deal in free agency
Trading away players with a losing history such as, Ricky Rubio, Kevin Martin and, Nikola Pekovic

A lot of focus was put on acquiring players with a history of winning in their careers in order to create a swagger in the locker room. The lineups for the 2015-16 season read as follows.

In the wake of the huge trade that sent the only real star on the Wolves to Cleveland for a bunch of young Cavs and, of course the future star Andrew Wiggins the Timberwolves are at a point where with no real star and no real mentor they must find a soul for the team. They trade for the last star they had before Love, Kevin Garnett. It is time to see these kids grow before our eyes and find a core that will become a dynasty.
