The Suns know how to win. The problem is they still haven't won it all. If there is any Suns team that could have won the championship it was the 2004-05 Suns. With a strong core of Joe Johnson,Steve Nash, Shawn Marion and Amare Stoudemire they were one of the best teams in the West. The problem is they loved to ship picks away for next to nothing. Two draft picks trades have ruined their chances to win it all. One of them was shipping the 7th pick to Chicago for cash and an 06 pick(which was the other traded pick that ruined their chances but that deserves another day.) The Bulls picked Luol Deng and he has been a great option on the Bulls team today. If he had been picked by the Suns he would have started over Richardson and the Suns would have been an even stronger team that would win the Pacific Division. The actual 04-05 Suns lost to the Spurs in the conference finals but if they had kept the pick and drafted Deng the Suns could have been holding the Larry O'Brien Trophy at the end of that season.
