Britain's Elena Baltacha and Briton Katie O'Brien moved into the world's top 100 for the first time on Monday.

Baltacha beat O'Brien 6-3 4-6 6-3 to win the Aegon Pro Series in Shrewsbury on Saturday.

The Scot moves up eight places to number 93 in the new rankings, while England's O'Brien goes to 98th.

That takes the number of British women in the top 100 to three, although Anne Keothavong will slip from 77th as she continues to recover from injury.

Cameroon got off to a winning start at the U-20 World Cup in Egypt on Saturday.

Goals from Andre Effa and Germain Tiko gave them a 2-0 victory over South Korea in Suez.

Although the African Youth Championship runners-up sometimes looked shaky at the back, the margin of victory should have been larger.

Germany's 3-0 win over USA in the other Group C game puts Cameroon second in the table on goal difference.

Kenwyne Jones scored twice as Sunderland defeated Wolves to climb to eighth in the Premier League.

The Black Cats struck penalties early in either half, with Darren Bent scoring the first and Jones the second.

Sunderland defender John Mensah chested the ball into his own net before Kevin Doyle equalised from close range.

Nico Rosberg apologised to his Williams team after his pit-lane error cost the chance of a podium finish in Singapore.

Rosberg was second and in touch with winner Lewis Hamilton's McLaren when he crossed the white line of the pit lane exit, earning a drive-through penalty.

West Ham and Millwall have been hit with several Football Association charges after the crowd trouble which marred their Carling Cup match.

They are expected to contest the accusations of failing to control their fans at the match on 25 August.

Both clubs are alleged to have taken insufficient action to stop missile throwing and violent, threatening and racist behaviour at Upton Park.

The Hammers face four charges, while Millwall must answer three.
