Last night I blew a 4 run lead in the 6 inning. I was up 6-2 in the sixth inning and I walked the first batter I faced. The second batter reached on a throwing error and by the end of the sixth it was 6-5,and by the end of the seventh it was 8-6 Boston. I gave up a 3 run HR. I clawed back to an 8-8 tie in the ninth inning, but gave up a game winning double in the ninth. Losing a game to me is akin to having my finger nails pulled out, but before I got too upset I had to remember that Baseball is ... Read More

Hi, It's 5/10/2010. I am going to start my Franchise again. My wife says making a vow to complete the season might have been to strong a word. She is really a friend to me and understands about my video game playing. She's a good woman. This is a game and it should be fun. I have a high competitive fire and sometimes I go overboard with these sports video games. I'm going to get back to having fun with this game and Madden. Those are two games that I play now. I think I will be writing my blog everday ... Read More

Fueled by a three game sweep at the hands of the Minnesota Twins and a slight fever, at 2 AM on Thursday May 4th I erased my Yankee Franchise. I plan to start a new franchise and this time I will only play 2 games at a sitting. I won't start anymore games after 10 P.M or before 11 am. I vow to play a whole season.

Last night I was able to play 3 games. The Yankees were victoriuos in all 3. The beat the Baltimore Orioles 6-2 and beat the Red Sox twice (6-0, 12-6). They beat Boston in Boston.
The highlights lighted players in the past 3 games are Nick Johnson, he went from .250 to .286 batting average with 4hrs in the last 5 games. Curtis Granderson and Jorge Posada both a two hr games. The pitcher that is on fire for me is Andy Pettite. He pitched 7 shutout inning against the Boston Red Sox in the first ... Read More

The Yankees were beaten by the Baltimore Orioles 10-4. The Orioles were powered by a 5 RBI night for the Orioles Right Fielder and 6 strong innings from there starting pitcher. In my blog I will not be calling any opponents by name(even the great ones). I will just refer to them by there postion or number if they do something notable. This is a habit I picked up from my high school football coach. He would never call an opponent by name, so that we would not be in awe of our opponents, he would ... Read More

This was the last game of a three game series with the White Sox. The Yankees started the game strong exploding for 6 runs in the 2nd inning on the strength of a 3 run HR from Mark Teixeira. In the 3rd inning they score another 6 runs. This time it was Nick Johnson who came up big with a Grand Slam. This was big for Nick because he entered the game hitting .245 with 1-HR 8-RBI's. Javier Vasquez was cruising along on the mount until the 5th inning. In the 5th he gave up 2 runs. Then in the 6th inning ... Read More
